Image by rabe42 via FlickrAny good fish recipes for someone who doesn't like fish? (Preferably not fried.)In the spirit of health, I am going to try to eat more fish. Well really, any fish would be more fish. I don't like fish, other than the occasional canned tuna. I could eat massive amounts of crab, lobster, crawfish, and shrimp. However, most of those things are best dipped in butter, so I think you can see my problem.
Marty said that tilapia isn't such a fishy fish, so I might like that. I know that I don't like salmon. Any other suggestions?
The sad thing is, I used to eat fish all the time when I was a kid. We camped all summer, and each weekend we would cook a bunch of fish and have a big party with the other campers. It was usually beer battered and deep fried or breaded in cracker crumbs and sauteed in a little oil. Maybe that is why I don't like it now?

I like Mahi Mahi! I like it with a bit if lemon and herbs! Pan seared and kinda raw in the middle!!! Although my favorite fish is any kind raw! I LOVE SUSHI! My favorite raw fish is Japanese Yellowtail. It is good cooked too but since it is from Japan it is way too expensive to eat any other way then raw! You could try any of those tunas in the packet that are premarinaded. Talapia is a good fish that isn't too fishy. If the fish is fresh it should not smell fishy. If it smells fishy it isn't fresh! Duh! LOL!!!!
I am going to have to try mahi mahi. I know my brother likes it a lot. I am such a chicken when it comes to the whole trying fish thing. Which is strange, because I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food!
